About the event
This workshop will be an interactive session for participants to gain insights on use of electric and manual tools, and grow the incorporation of native plants into their, yard, garden, and other green spaces while minimizing hazardous waste contaminants.
We will cover range of topics from native plant identification, proper tool use and maintenance, strategies, methods and approaches to minimize the need to use hazardous chemicals that impact our day-to-day lives.
Our hope for this session is to help participants reimagine their options, feel empowered to make changes, create habits that serve their health and the environment, and make a meaningful impact on the reduction of waste to landfill and pollutants in the environment.
This program is funded in part by a Public Participation Grant from the Washington Department of Ecology.
